About Shelley GoldenShelley is a fashion stylist and wardrobe consultant in the San Francisco bay area and has been in the fashion industry, in one form or another, her entire adult life. She started out as a fashion consultant in Chicago 30 years ago helping dress men and women and has continued this passion with friends and family over the years. She produced fashion shows and presented "Dress for Success" seminars to corporations, professional and women’s groups and educational institutions.
As a passionate costume historian, she taught “History of Costume” at The International Academy of Merchandise and Design in Chicago as well as lectured to various groups around the world. She also served as assistant costume curator at the Wellesley Historical Society.
Additionally, Shelley volunteers as a Personal Shopper at Bloom (formerly: Image For Success) in San Rafael, CA, helping dress and style women and men giving them fully coordinated complimentary wardrobes through donated clothing, so they can transition to a life of self-reliance.
Shelley was fortunate to live in Europe and the Middle East for 15 years where she studied art history and culture along with extensive travel through European and Asia.
Shelley holds a bachelor’s degree in Textile and Business from Arizona State University. She lives with her children in the San Francisco bay area and enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, exercising and being part of the community.
