With an estimated selling price of around £500,000, the skeleton will be part of the upcoming ‘Evolution’ auction. Rupert van der Werff, Director of Summers Place Auctions, said: “The rarity and completeness of this specimen cannot be over emphasized, and it provides a unique opportunity for an individual or an institution to own a specimen of this great icon of extinction.”
